This is a view from the hill where the Volkovysk Center for Children and Youth Creativity now stands (School st., 1). During the Polish period there was Stefan Batory gymnasium. Besides St. Nicholas church here one may see St. Peter and Pauls church (two towers to the left, under the capital letter "W") and main synagogue of the city (building that looks like an oldfashion radio a little to the right of the Peter and Puals church).
